It is our pleasure to announce that we’ll be participating in the American Heart Associate Heart Walk 2009!

It is our goal to raise awareness about Heart Disease and the money raised will go towards the AHA research and education program.

I (Isabelle’s daddy) will be walking and your generous pledges can be made at this location:

The walk will be on May 30th (Saturday), 2009 in Kansas City, MO. The Festival begins at 8:30 am and the walk will begin at 9:00 am. There is a 4 mile and 1 mile walk route.

Hello!

Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve written. I wanted to tell you about a new program that we’ve joined. It’s the Lawrence Parks and Recreation Adopt-A-Park. In rememberance of Isabelle and the fact that she loved going to the park, we are going to clean one of her favorite Lawrence Parks this year (well, once a month). The park we’ve adopted is South Park and we took the girls there on several occassions and it’s a wonderful place to play.

Every second Sunday of the month we will be out at South Park cleaning up. So, this weekend we will be cleaning the park!

If you would like to join us, we will be at South Park this Saturday at 5 PM. Bring a friend, bring your child, have fun with us and remember Isabelle’s love of this park!

We chose Saturday this time because this Sunday is Mother’s Day. Right now, we don’t have any “rain out” plans so hopefully the weather is beautiful and we have a fun time cleaning up the park.

We plan to create a seperate web page to highlight events like this. Once that page is created, we’ll let you know.
